I have come across some students who, having just received their canterbury cards and proceeded to add funds to it more or less straight away, have complained that the money has not appeared on their balance well after the usual 30 minute period. In one particular case this was so even on the following day.
Obviously this may be the user ‘thinking’ they have loaded money correctly, or the system may be running slow, however, contrary to what IT advised regarding when money can be added, it be prudent to push a fairly broad ‘do nothing for 24 hours’ line.
