An unusually large batch of hundreds of discontinuation records for students who had supposedly withdrawn came through this morning. When some of them came to the Lending Desk to borrow and were adamant that they had not withdrawn from studies, their records were re-requested and came back with a future expiry date. Library IT has subsequently bulk requested the remainder which seems to have rectified the mistake. If you come across any other students who appear to be inappropriately discontinued please contact Helen Doidge, Sandra Gover or Seren Wendelken and we will try re-requesting their record. Please do NOT override the ‘Expired Library Registration’ block.
