There is a new list of audiovisual resources on the COMS portal. This may be of interest to other info librarians, as media studies is extending its tentacles just about everywhere these days: into politics, gender, cultural studies, advertising and marketing, sociology, health studies, film, etc. This is reflected in a growing collection of DVDs ordered by the COMS Dept.

COMS people are also very interested in being able to research and access content broadcast on NZ tv and radio. The best research tool for this is the Chapman Archive at Auckland Uni – a database of NZ audiovisual content recorded from tv and radio dating back to the 60s.
