Just a reminder that the Library holds AV material recorded in different formats from different regions.

Some video players do not read NTSC (recorded in the USA, versus recorded elsewhere in PAL) formatted material, and some DVD players/game consoles/computers are not multi-region and thus cannot read DVDs produced outside NZ’s region (4). If a borrower complains that there is no image, check this first and direct them to the equipment in our libraries which can read multi-region material (e.g., EL has a multi-region video player).
