Long term due dates (staff and research students) are now well into December. Some of you have commented on the variety of dates. The reason for this is that Horizon does not count days that a library location is closed when it is calculating the 60 days. Since the branches are all closed on Sundays during Summer (but Central is not), any item with a location code other than ‘c’, will skip all the closed days between issue date and due date. This has the effect of making long term due dates increasingly out of sync. Don’t worry – happens every year.
