ICTS have now installed an IT Help Desk phone at the end of the Lending Desk. It is solely for the use of Amy Wilson (the IT Help Desk Advisor) from 5pm to closing time every weekday evening. However – you will hear it ring during the day as incoming calls are routed through all the phones connected to extension 7020 until the call is answered. Please do not answer this phone. It won’t ring for long and IT staff will catch the call at one of the other connected phones.
Couldn’t it just be left off the hook/disconnected during the day? 🙂
