Counterculture found

Unfortunately the inevitable has occurred and Counterculture is now indexed by the major web search engines. As a precaution, when making posts, please make sure you don’t identify any staff members by their full name. Also check that your login does not contain any identifying features. From now on, only registered members of Counterculture will be able to make comments, and I will have to mediate any comment before allowing it. This might mean that your comments could take a little longer to appear. You may wish to do a search on your name and let me know if there is anything you want deleted.

  1. If only registered members can make comments then do they need to be approved? Cog ‘n Blog has attracted a reasonable amount of spam, but none has ever gone to the effort of becoming a member to do so, so I don’t see what added advantage that gives.

It seems a particular shame as it will mean that comments posted after hours won’t be visible until the next day (or the next Monday) so won’t be available to other after-hours staff in that time.
