Econ 104 and 105 students (around 700 of them) will need to use the EconData Time Series Databases for assignments due early April. The access to these databases can be confusing. What they need to know is that the databases are accessable from any of the student workrooms on campus and from the library but not in the Halls. Econdata needs to be installed per user, per machine so that each time they look for the databases they will need to reinstall EconData unless they are using the same machine again. To install they need to go to the Control Panel, choose add or remove programs and select EconData from the list.
