A note from EPIC:

“Some of you may have noticed that the latest full text content up on the Australia/New Zealand Reference Centre from the New Zealand Herald is 31 March 2008, and the Dominion Post has been lagging behind as well, with content loaded to early May. We have been working with EBSCO to find out the cause of these problems, and can assure all EPIC EBSCO users that it has now been escalated up to the highest level within the Company.

Today the update from the Australia & NZ National Manager states:
“Two co-incidental but unrelated issues have been identified.
1) Some Fairfax titles haven’t been fully delivered to us by the publisher and we are urgently pursuing this content to bring the coverage up to date.
2) Content from the NZ Herald for some reason has not been loading to the system successfully. This is a technical issue and we expect to have it dealt with shortly.

Thank-you once again for your patience and please be assured that we continue to treat this issue as a top level priority.”

I met with their Regional Manager today, who said that they’ve had problems with some of the other Fairfax newspapers in Australia as well.”
