Library IT are currently going around the branches bring the Lending Desks online, but it will still be awhile before other staff can get access. Until you are notified, please stay out of Horizon.
The catalogue is currently working. Please notify any problems to Library IT. It may occassionally go up and down during the day. If it is down, wait a couple of minutes then try again. If it is still down ring Library IT.

The Horizon upgrade has worked well but we are having problems distributing the software to staff machines.
If you have Horizon7.4.1 on your machine you can now use it for anything on Horizon or reports. Make sure you are logged into culib as the database.
There are a few hold and transit receipt problems that we are working on.
Please report any other problems.
Please reboot you machine if you do not have Horizon 7.4.1. If Horizon 7.4.1 does not load, wait another 15 minutes and do it again. If it still does not work email Library IT with your name, location and PC number.
When you use Horizon7.4.1 be very careful that you select culib as the database.
You will still have a copy of Horizon 7.3.4 on your machine. We cannot delete this at the moment as it stops Horizon 7.4.1 from running. We will continue working on this.
If you are working on a PC where you need to print circulation slips, please note that there is a new tick box that needs to be selected with this release. With CKI or CKO running, go to Tools > Change receipt options. Tick the "In hold transit slip" box in the top section of the screen, then click OK. This will allow you to print transit hold and transit recall slips.
As always after an upgrade, please check what is happening carefully and report problems to Library IT.
