Seem to be going off all the time for no reason. I have rung 3M who service them.

Needed to get Purchase Order number from Maureen first (which 3M use as our reference number)

They need the serial number and model number which are both on bottom right as you are walking in to the library.
Reference number they gave us is Ref:218100
Engineer will come after 10am on Wednesday 22nd October.
The engineer can not find anything wrong. If this happens again look for a paper clip or circle of wire nearby as this will set the gates off when someone goes through.
The job is open for the next week so if the problem repeats ring him direct not 3M. His card is on the board above the phone in the workroom.
Misfiring again today and yesterday – will be three days at least to get the testing equipment down from Auckland.
Problem seems to occur irregularly but only after they have been on a few hours
Gates have been serviced. Please let them know if there are still problems. If not job will be closed off in a week.
