Part-Time (18.75 hours per week)

Applications are invited for a part-time Library Assistant based in the Education Library.

The position is responsible for providing lending and other public services for the University Library. Although this position is based in the Education Library there is an expectation that you will be available to work in any of the libraries on campus.

You will have previous experience with automated library systems and some knowledge of library procedures. You will demonstrate a commitment to excellent customer service and continuous improvement, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be flexible and adaptable.

The normal work schedule for this position is as follows:
Academic Year:
Thursday 9:00am – 2:00pm
Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm
Saturday 9:45am – 5:00pm

Summer Hours:
Wednesday 9:45am – 5:00pm
Thursday 9:00am – 2:00pm
Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm
