I noticed yesterday that the format of dates in Horizon has changed. Instead of, for example, 01/04/2009, the date read as 2009/04/01 on the Checkin History for an item. I also noticed that when creating a Title Record in the Reserve Bookroom in order to place an item on Restricted Loan, the withdrawal date field demanded a date format of 2009/11/30 instead of the usual 30/11/2009. I thought I should mention this as I don’t recall reading about it in advance, but perhaps I overlooked something earlier which was intended to let us know about this change. Caroline Anderson.
The date format in Horizon hasn’t changed – Caroline’s system date is set to this format, and is controlling the way the date displays in Horizon.
I’ve edited the title so as not to cause confusion.
