Alec Ford, the President of the Royal Society of NZ (Canty), has contacted me to say that an error has been made when printing Royal Society membership renewal receipts resulting in the wrong date showing on the receipt. As Royal Society members need to have up-to-date receipts with them when arranging for Library access, the date has to be corrected. Alec is arranging for replacement receipts to be printed today and these should be in the mail to members tomorrow. This should mean that members will have correct, up-to-date receipts with them when they visit Central Library but in the event that they do not, please advise them that a correct receipt is required by the Library and this is being mailed to them by the Royal Society.
