Sorry about this. We’re working on it, it seems like there is a big network breakdown on many networks… We at first thought it was just our hosting facility but they have lost the connection with bunch of others too, so something bigger is going on.
We’re on it though, and we’ll give you an update as soon as possible.
Great to see the subject guides are up again… but is there anything we can do to provide a backup for our users in case this sort of thing happens again? — and not just during the day, but in the middle of the night, when some of our students are approaching deadlines and getting desperate?
This is one of the downsides of an externally hosted service and applies to most of our databases. There is nothing that we can do to fix the problems except report them. On the up side if it happened at 3am then a customer in a different timezone would report it. Anne
