SAGE Reference Online
20 encyclopedias from SAGE Reference Online have been added to the Catalogue. At the moment we have access to 8 of these, with the remaining titles becoming available mid-October.

Custom Print – purchase an article or groups of articles for creating a custom publication. Currently only available in The American Indian Quarterly (look for the link in the Options panel on the article page)
Links to JSTOR – added links to back issues of 16 journals in JSTOR (over 40 journals now links to back issues)
More by an Author – links for each author listed as article contributor; also has links to Google Scholar and
WorldCat (find the More By box in the right panel on the article page and hold cursor over an author’s name)

Starting in July 2010 and continuing over the next three years, MUSE will be adding a significant number of back issues from many publishers.

Factiva
Factiva Concept Explorer is a new beta capability added to Factiva to help with finding relevant keywords on a specific topic. For example, selecting an industry will produce ideas and phrases associated with a term and add new related words to your search.

To see Concept Explorer in action:
• Go to the Search Builder tab in Factiva and enter a search term*
• Click the arrow to the left of Concept Explorer to display a list of associated terms
• Refine the list results by industry by selecting from the industry dropdown box on the right
• Click Add to include new concept terms with or without additional search terms

*Initially, only single terms can be entered and will only be available in English

ProQuest
Coming in 2010, ProQuest, CSA Illumina, and selected Chadwyck-Healey products will be available on a new platform with a single, easy-to-learn interface. This will give access to complementary content types and formats, including leading journals, periodicals, news content, rare and archival information, dissertations, research reports, ebooks, and multimedia. Search results will be relevancy ranked and sophisticated post-search manipulation features will be available.
