Ricoh man has visited and got it working. The small green tab (under the larger green lever) had got stuck down so needed to be pulled back up (somewhat forcefully) in order to fit under the green lever. –If anyone’s curious I can show them. He’s said something about coming in with a spare part, but that it’ll work in the meantime anyway.
