A few people have mentioned that they don’t like using ctrl + click to open hyperlinks from emails. This can be switched off, but be aware that this will also apply to links in Word documents since Word is now the editor for emails in Outlook.

To switch off this setting:

– Open Word and click the Offi ce Button (top left circular button)
– Click Word Options (button at the bottom of the menu)
– Choose Advanced from the left-hand bar
– Uncheck “Use Ctrl + Click to follow hyperlink”
