New Summon features and content

From Serials Solutions:

Product features/capabilities

• Last week we released a major relevance enhancement that returns more precise results for queries that otherwise might be overly stemmed, for phrase queries that are not bounded by quotation marks, and for better handling of British vs. American spelling differences.
– Here are some queries that will help show off these new enhancements:
• Journaling (stemming—so you don’t see results with “journal” and “journalist”)
• Time to market (phrases with stop words)
• Fibre optics (British vs. American spelling)

• We have also made back-end enhancements to the service that will allow us to keep the index more current, including daily updates of catalog records and appropriate subscription content, such as newspaper articles.
