Information follows for
a) staff processing interloan requests for supply by Central, and
b) for desk staff handling Interloan items sent to their library for pickup/consultation by our users.
a) Branch Supply of Copies and Loans:
– this covers procedures for scanning/copying and exceptions where there are any. Specific instuctions for use of each library’s mopier have been removed from these procedures.
b) Branch Library Pickup of Interloans
– this provides some general information and also covers procedures for service desk staff for handling
issuable and non-issuable interloans, and the procedures for expired Interloan holds.
Please ensure all new staff in your library are aware of these documents.
