I would like to remind all staff considering undertaking further tertiary study, that there is a well documented process that must be followed in order to be eligible for any support from the Library.

Please also review the UC Policy (Staff Tertiary Study Assistance), and the Library SOP (Study Assistance for UC Library Staff).
Support is also available for study related to acquiring library qualifications. See the relevant wiki page.
It is essential that any proposed study options are initially discussed with your manager, and the request is documented at PD&R sessions. If it is agreed that the Library will support a course of study, documentation from HR is completed, and this is placed within your personal staff record.

Please note that postgrads can enrol at any time of the year so I will need to re-enrol on April 1st 2010. It seemed like an auspicious date to start on…..
