Updates to eResources

A few recent changes and additions have been made to EBO, OUP and JSTOR.

Updates are coming to Wiley InterScience and Emerald.


Encyclopedia Britannica Online
A new interface and new features are planned for Britannica Online Academic Edition. A preview of the new site has been made available (linked from the current site) and feedback is welcomed, email bol@britannica.com.au

New features include: Featured Results and Did You Mean sections; related Web sites, other related content and rich media integrated with each article; My Britannica feature with space for saving content from Britannica and elsewhere; Suggest Edit, Article History and Contributors features.

Oxford University Press
• Oxford Art Online – The latest update focuses on globalisation.
• Oxford Music Online – New content, including 250 new articles from the Grove Dictionary of American Music (2nd ed.)
• Max Planck Encyclopedia of Public International Law – 32 sample articles now available.

Wiley InterScience
Wiley Online Library will launch on Saturday, July 24th, 2010. “This new online service will combine intuitive navigation, enhanced discoverability, expanded functionalities and a range of personalization options.”

Emerald
Emerald is making a series improvements which will go live in mid-June. A preview of the new site has been made available, along with a Step-by-Step Guide (PDF). Pages on the beta site have links to a comments form to provide feedback.
