Well, apart from this user, no, people are not still returning books at the old PSL Library! The dropbox was locked when we vacated the building. However, we know from previous experience that even when the box is locked, borrowers have been able to force items through the slot. I’m not sure how anyone could "inadvertently" return books to the PSL dropbox. We will retrieve this item and will ask FM to block off the whole box. Dawn.
I was in the PSL Library at midday looking at the campus plan display, and in walked a student and returned her library book to the architect…

Well, let’s hope the architect returned it to a functioning Library otherwise there could be a hefty fine coming someone’s way! Dawn
Perhaps the "Physical Sciences Library" sign outside the PSL Library should be taken down and a sign put up saying "PSL Library closed – now moved to EPS Library" (with a map showing where EPS Library is). (I think it is rather ironic that the Campus Master Plan is occupying the old PSL now and one of the aims of the Plan is to make the Campus more user-friendly and easier to navigate, yet there is a sign outside the building which gives users the wrong impression about what is inside). I assume that FM are responsible for the signage?? Caroline Anderson
FM have asked that the signage stays where it is for the moment. We had "library closed" signs on the building but the Campus Master Plan people took them down…. Dawn.
