A Law reference collection held in the Law Basement is now requestable via HIP/Horizon for use in the Law Library only. These items have caused problems in the past when borrowers have placed requests via the Storage Request Form for other branch libraries.

This collection now has a ‘zllr’ collection code (Law Reports), and a 2-hour itype (2hl) that will only allow requests to be placed for pickup at the Law Library (similar to the Central Special Collections Room 2-hour loans). Please note that distance borrowers will not be able to request these items.

There won’t be any changes for staff doing storage retrievals in the Law Basement. These items will appear on the Horizon storage pull list, and will automatically go into transit to Law when checked in. They should be placed in the Law Library hamper in the Law Basement.
