Through job search we have employed some students to return books to the shelves. We are starting on the Level 4 so that the books which are remaining will be requestable as soon as possible. The students are working 4 hr days. Please make them welcome in the tea room. HR staff, Tim O and myself held an induction session for them this afternoon and there will be another one in the morning. Main focus is on working safely, what to do in an earthquake and evacuation procedures. These students have been given access to the lifts on their Canterbury Cards. When they cease working for us the access will be removed.
