This will be the first time that we have closed and reopened – on the same day. We have found that we cannot set up an automatic extension to the return time for hourly loan material that may fall due within the ‘closed’ period.

All libraries, with the exception of the Education Library, will need to manually edit the due time on hourly loan material to accommodate the period that the library is closed.

The suggestion is that we edit the due time, on any item due between 11:30am and 2:30pm, to a standard due time of 3pm.

Items of a ‘reference only’ nature will/may need to be returned for the period that library is closed.
