Dear everyone,

I can’t begin to thank you all enough for the kindness and generosity you have shown on my leaving the Library after 25 years. I have been so fortunate in so many ways, not least of all working with such incredibly fantastic people. Thank you all so much for the beautiful gifts from Form Gallery (my favourite shop), the vouchers, and the books, especially the gardening book – getting food crops in is suddenly very important! I am really looking forward to having a good break, and then thinking about future directions next year. It has been a difficult time for all of us, and I wish you all the very best in whatever lies ahead. The Library will always hold a special place in my heart, and especially the people – the friends I have made, and the sense of family that made the Library such a great place to work. You can all hold your heads up high with what you have achieved, and the commitment and the passion that you have showed for your work. I have been privileged to have been part of it all, and very privileged indeed to have worked closely with so many of you over the years. Thank you again, and I look forward to keeping in touch.
