I have placed the following message on the library website and UC Diary. Hopefully we will be able to give away a good number of books from the tables on level 2.

Central Library book giveaway – Wednesday 2 February 11 am – 2.30 pm
Following on from the book giveaway in December the library staff have now had an opportunity to remove out of date and duplicate stock from levels 2-4. These books will be available free to anyone who wants to give them a good home on Wednesday 2 February from 11 am – 2.30 pm. You are invited to come and browse to see if any of the weeded stock is of interest to you. You will be able to access the library through the student locker area on level 1 and then up the internal front steps to the library. Bring a bag along to take the books away. Level 2 is currently being painted so please keep within the restricted areas. The Central Library will reopen on Monday 21 February.
