Things have reached a crisis point with the Commerce collection move to Law. The collection is being delivered in batches and being tagged but I now need urgent help getting the material on to the shelves in roughly the right place. I need library staff who are familiar with LC classification to help the Law library staff complete this task from this Thursday afternoon until the bulk of the work is done – estimated to finish Friday 11 Feb.
Here is a roster
for people to log their commitment. I can take up to four people at each time slot – we are restricted by the number of trolleys available. Please check with your manager before volunteering.
The roster is in two hour slots except for 8-9am. If you can only do 1 and a half hours in a slot please put your name in anyway.
You will get a great welcome at the library and you will get a lot of personal satisfaction knowing that you have helped to ensure that the entire collection is accessible to users.
Thanks in advance from the Project Leader:
