PsycBOOKS
We now have access to PsycBOOKS on EBSCO. PsycBOOKS includes books published by APA and others as well as content of historical significance from the Archives of the History of American Psychology (AHAP) collection. Also contains classic books in psychology dating from the 1600s and entries from the APA/Oxford University Press Encyclopedia of Psychology.

Latest enhancements to Factiva include:
More assisted search features –
• Simple Search: “Did you mean?” for sources
• Simple search recognises companies and sources based on keywords; a maximum of 5 alternative companies or sources will be offered.
Search Builder: Auto Complete –
Auto complete has extended into the Sources and Dow Jones Intelligent Indexing area of the Search Builder screen. As users begin to type in terms the auto complete function will display matches as terms are entered.
Sources and Dow Jones Intelligent Indexing area:
• Click a term once to select.
• Click the new icon to exclude a term.
• Source listings have new icons for publications and Web news.
• A courtesy note will appear after broad searches that return results with more than 500 companies or 2,000 sources: The number of items found is very large. We have returned a portion of the results. If the item you are looking for is not listed, please refine your search.
Enhancements for release April 30, 2011:
• A refreshed user interface with a streamlined, contemporary look that will improve the user experience. Factiva will be easier to navigate with new fonts and colours, while maintaining a familiar design and the features most important to researchers.
• More global content, featuring the launch of Arabic. Over 100 licensed sources in Arabic with a 2-3 month archive, including newspapers, magazines, broadcast transcripts, and financial data from sources such as Al Jazeera and government news sources.
Earthquake resources
Access has been reinstated for CRCnetBASE, Palgrave Connect and Taylor & Francis eBooks until 30 June and Informit databases are now available until 7 September.
