Further to my earlier progress report about interloan changes …

Please note that the parameter to change the length of time an interloan item stays on the hold shelf was changed on Monday 22 August, and that any interloan holds generated before this change will still have the old parameter meaning that the holds will expire sooner than 14 days for these items. We should start to see interloans remaining on the hold shelf for the longer period from next week. From Tuesday (30th) if you see interloan holds expiring after less than 14 days on the hold shelf, please contact Library eServices.

Text messages for interloan holds are now going out to borrowers who have a mobile number on their Horizon record.
Email reminders will now be sent to borrowers who have a hold on an interloaned item that has remained on the hold shelf for more than a week.
