UC Library has close to 1000 fans on Facebook. We are going to use the 1000th fan mark as an opportunity to develop and promote our Facebook presence. We will be asking our fans what they would like to see on our page, and offering an incentive for them to reply (suggestions for this incentive are very welcome).

We’d like to hear your ideas on how we could be using FB to promote UC Libraries. Have you seen an innovative use by another University Library or group? Either comment here, or email me your thoughts.

Remember we are always on the lookout for content, so if you have any library news, photos or events you want posted to Facebook, send the details to Deborah or me.
