The Self Check Kiosks have been updated so that they now display due times for hourly loans.

Of course, there is a but…

Either all items have a due time and date, or no items have a due time and date. So now receipts on the self-check machines are specifying a return time of 12:00AM for all regular issue items and 3Day items. This is problematic. While the due time time on Horizon has not changed, it will appear to the observant borrower that their loan time has been reduced by 24 hours as books have always been due at the end of the due date, not the beginning of the due date.

Peter is investigating the possibility of changing this due time to 23:59PM so that is more clearly representative of circulation rules.
