From time to time over the next 2 months the staff entrance on level 1 will be blocked off for construction work. We are unlikely to get advance warning of this. Please follow all barriers, they are there for our safety.

There will always be sufficient emergency exits to get out of the building.

If you are entering the building before the library opens please use the entrance on the South side of the building (where students used to access the loft). You scan your card in the same way as the staff entrance and then come up the West lifts.

Please note that level 5 is a restricted area therefore when in the West or East lift you will need to scan your canterbury card before pressing the level 5 button. If using the staff lift by the library workroom then the Canterbury card is not necessary.
