The earlier reported problem with requests for High Demand items has been fixed. Now the pickup location has to match the owning location of the item, and High Demand location is no longer an option.
Unfortunately the system still offers other locations, and the error message it returns if the wrong location is chosen is far from helpful. However, it has been like this for Education Library HD items for some time, so I suspect this can’t be fixed (I’m sure if it was possible, Donna would have found a way to make this message more helpful).
For that reason we have added another note into the request screen, beside where you choose the pickup location, to indicate that the owning location must be chosen.
I’ve tested it, but would be grateful if others could put it through its paces as well to make sure it all works properly. Please contact eServices with any problems or suggestions.
