Just in regards to the below post, could people make it a regular thing to send spare hampers to the Education Library ? Library Support Services descends upon Education like a hawk upon lambs once daily. We frequently have more than a trolley a day of young books seeking caring homes. Please keep us in your thoughts.

could this somehow be arranged with the Warehouse delivery guys and gals? We always have a lot of full hampers going out and there is a limit to how much the warehouse staff can carry out of central library at the moment (they use sack barrows and the small lift). we do usually have quite a few spare hampers around but it might be better if they were picked up separately to make sure they got to you in time (i.e. were ready first thing in the morning). Just a thought.
