The Campus planning for orientation this year has felt a bit disjointed as new staff throughout the univeristy are in roles organising the events for the first time. However, a number of events are planned to welcome new and returning students. Please check out the orientation link on at http://www.canterbury.ac.nz/orientation.
The students will receive most of this information in packs. However it is useful for us to be able supply the information online for them at an Information Desk. The link to the library tours and tutorials is also on this page. We will link to it from the library home page next week. The same document is attached here for your information. At Central this year we are trialling a more in depth tour as the building is large and asking students to book for a tutorial at a later time. Students can book now for the tutorial – Libraries – Learn how to use them via the book a library course link.
