The Resource Discovery Team are taking over the responsibility for the Monograph and Serial repairs being sent offsite. The new process has been added to the Wiki “How To” pages under the Lending heading. As this is a new process I would appreciate feedback over the next couple of months. Edits to the wiki will then be made and the process will be confirmed.
Please take the time to read the new process. The main change is that a new item status of X has been created and is to be used for all repairs.
The budget allocation for this year is being spent mainly on repairs instead of binding as there were many items damaged in the earthquakes. Later in the year the binding will be completed for the high priority items which have been identified by Coral and Jill. Please do not send any serials which requiuire binding to LSS at this time.
