From Monday, we will begin updating the links for all Webapps reports and programs from the old web server to a virtual server. Webapps includes Horizon Reports found on Camelot, and programs such as Biblioplus, the New Titles List and the Room Booking system, as well as anything else with a link beginning with “http://webapps.libr.canterbury.ac.nz”. Initially we will begin working only on internal library staff reports, such as Horizon Reports.

Webapps reports on the new server will be identified by links in the format “http://library.canterbury.ac.nz/webapps/”, and eventually the old links will no longer be accessible. We will be working to update all links on the website and the wiki, and may require assistance to identify and update links within LibGuides. If you have been provided with a report link for your own individual use at some point in the past and you want to continue using it, then please email us to let us know.

If you encounter any problems running the relinked reports, please report them to Library eServices, including the link that you used to access the program, any error messages you received, and the steps taken to get to the error message.

As this process will happen in stages over a period of time, we will continue to post updates about which area is being worked on, and where potential problems might be encountered.
