It is with regret that I announce that Jill will be leaving the University of Canterbury on the 3rd May 2013 to take up a new role as the Senior archivist at Ngai Tahu. Jill joined the Macmillan Brown Library in 2000, progressing to the Library Manager in 2008. During her time at UC, Jill has lead key developments that has greatly enhanced the collections and services that are delivered by the Macmillan Brown team.

Jill and I have already started discussing her replacement including how best to manage the interim period and I will provide further details as this is finalised.

I know you will all join me in wishing Jill well, she will be greatly missed as a friend and colleague. I look forward to saying farewell properly in May.
