A notice from the ICT Service Desk:
There will be an outage on Monday 10th June at 5.00pm until 8.00pm that will affect a number of Applications on the following Servers:
• UCISDB5
This will require an outage of up to 3 hours (between 5:00pm and 8.00pm) to the following systems and services:
• UCPortal
• UC Student Web
• UCTranscript
• UCSubmit
• Profiler
• UCSpark
• UCReceipting
• News and Events
• FLS
• Professional Practise
• Card Printing
• Course Maintenance
• MCCS
• All 2003 Sharepoint sites
Please also note that EFTPOS reload stations should not be used during the outage. The 24 hour access EFTPOS reload station in Erskine will have an out of order sign placed on it during this time.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. If you are aware of any other staff who may be affected, and who may not have received this notification, then please let them know of the outage.
Please ensure you have saved any work you are doing prior to the patching.
ICTS have now advised:
1. Tonight, anyone with a negative balance will not be blocked from logging on, accessing the internet or printing. Whatever use they make of these services will ‘calculate’ overnight and be accumulated to their balance tomorrow.
2. At 8pm the EFTPOS will come back on, and students will be able to add credit.
3. Photocopying is not possible to be included in (1) above, however students can scan and print to get around this, or in a worse case scenario use a staff photocopier.
