To celebrate Māori Language week and the theme for 2013, Ngā ingoa Māori (Māori Names), Christchurch City libraries created an online exhibition to celebrate and tautoko this kaupapa, called, “Ngā ingoa Māori o Waitaha – Māori place names of Canterbury.”

The exhibition showcases some of the heritage resources they have in their collection that record local history and place names. It includes maps, photos, other online resources such as Tī Kōuka Whenua and digitised publications.
