Further to Joan’s Counterculture post Transit items to Library Storage (19th Dec 2012)
Storage items
Please send warehouse items (zwj or zwb Store A) in a hamper direct to the Library Warehouse. They do not need to come to Central first.
Law Basement items (zlb or zlj Store B) should be placed in the EPS hamper. While the collection has been moved out of the Law Basement items are delivered to and picked up from EPS.
Crown Storage items (zoj or zob Store D) please place in the Central Library hamper.
University Warehouse bay 26 items (z26b or z26j Store E) please send these to Central Library in the hamper. There is no organised pickup or delivery for these even though the warehouse staff may or may not take them. Before being reshelved they need to be checked in at Central as there is no library computer in the UC warehouse.
Unfortunatley the checkin units do not distinguish between the various storage locations and gives only a “return to Storage” message. Generating a transit slip in a subsequent horizon checkin will show the relevant collection code.
Thanks in advance

Hi Tim,
This post: http://library.canterbury.a…
Says with regard to Law Basement returnes:
"Edu and MB libraries: please continue to return Law Basement items to Central Library"
So we can now send them straight to EPS rather than to Central?
Cheers,
Nick
sorry, any zlj or zlb item issued before the 4th of June needs to come back to Central, otherwise they can go to EPS. There are now only 10 zlj items left on issue that were issued before the 4th of June and when they come back they need to be put aside to be added to the offsite database.
Tim O’S
Thanks for clarifying that Tim.
Cheers,
Nick
