Maori language week has finished. However, the Maori Language Commission is encouraging people to learn a word a week, every week of the year. In the Education Library we are supporting this initiative. At the moment we have a display of reo Maori picture books that have been paired with their English version for people to enjoy. This afternoon we took a snap of one of our students and her daughter doing just that
