After several years of discussion, the National Digital Forum has decided to retire Matapihi. The National Library led DigitalNZ has become the main digital initiative for shared NZ content and includes the Matapihi content. Supporting both platforms was not possible; indeed somewhat confusing.

From later this week, connections to Matapihi will be redirected to DigitalNZ.
