TowerRace-Tuesday24March-12pm

It’s nearly that time of the year again when fit able bodied students, well most of them anyway, sprint, run, stumble, and puff up the 11 levels of 264 stairs, a 53m vertical climb. So aren’t you glad then that I’m only asking you to stand at one of the levels, cheering these brave souls on, tending to the wounded and fallen, and keeping wayward students from wandering into the runners way. This is a crazy fun event and an enjoyable way for library staff to get involved in student events. Past helpers have always said they enjoyed themselves. So don’t be nervous, give it a go if you haven’t before, or do it again – come on, you know you want to.

Race starts at 12 noon. Helpers will meet at 11.50 am for a briefing. Prior to the race you will be assigned your level and advised on what you need to do (which isn’t much). If you have any questions or want to put your hand up like a champ then contact Megan Dale.
