You may have seen in the media and on campus that His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales will be visiting the university on Tuesday 12 May from 3pm until 4pm.

His visit will take place in the Lower Concourse of Matariki and the Matariki Quad. The focus of the visit will be meeting members of the Student Volunteer Army.

Plans are underway for this event, suffice to say that the Central Library will remain open, although access to the library via the Matariki quad and main external doors will be rerouted via the various entrances to the Undercroft, possibly from lunchtime until the event finishes.

We will be making sure the changes to access to the library/Puaka James Hight are well communicated.

The Central Library will also be hosting two Student Services staff for the whole day (adjacent to the information desk on Level 2) as access to the Matariki building is closed for the full day.
