He pātai o te rā: Question of the Day

Kia ora koutou

(Huge, embarrassed apologies for displaying the macron incorrectly in previous ‘Question of the day’ posts – I’ve been posting from home and didn’t notice my computer at home was scrambling this.)

Our young can learn te reo in simple ways right from the start. You can help them by starting with basic body part words – translate the following parts : Puku, poho, niho, manawa, turi, upoko, and ihu.

Answers to Sue Thompson – chocolate fish prizes to be awarded at our waiata / shared kai event tomorrow in the Pacifica Lali Room, from 1pm. Come and join the fun, ka kite apopo!
