The interviews and presentations for the Customer Services position will take place next week. Staff are welcome to attend the presentations which will be from 9.00am-12.30pm on Wednesday 12th in Rm 210 There are five presentations of 30 minutes each, 20 minutes presentation and 10 minutes questions with 15 minutes between sessions. The topic is ‘What opportunities and challenges do you see in Customer Services in an Academic Library?’. Regards, Anne
I have had requests from staff asking for a list of presenters for the Customer Services Manager position and also some feedback from other staff that the process is intimidating for potential internal candidates (not from the applicants). As a result I have decided not to release the names of the candidates before the presentations. This will be fairer to all candidates, particularly as I know that some staff will not be able to come to all sessions due to operational requirements. Ngâ mihi nui, Anne.
