And the Categories are:

GOLDEN BAND AID AWARD Dedicated to the person who has made a great effort to promote our collective health, safety, sanity and wellbeing. Who will it be this year?

PARDON MY BLOOPER AWARD Unintended indiscretions are most welcome in this award category. Have you ever had a moment where you thought “I should have stayed in bed this morning” or “it’s one of those days”? Have you ever wondered if perhaps the universe set its sights on you and decided to have a laugh? If you have found yourself or someone else in a funny situation this year and don’t mind sharing the joy with your colleagues, we would love to hear about it. (Please check with the person prior to submission where possible)

WAY WITH WORDS AWARD In previous years, this award has been described thus “Professional writing skills such as a book, conference paper, article, suggestion board, etc” (never really like that ‘etc’ tacked on the end of anything) While previous winners were, in keeping with the nature of these awards, not anywhere near that mark, we believe that, in 2015, with the advent and growth of email and social media messaging applications, this description was in need of a bit of an overhaul. So, the award this year goes to the person who: By whatever communication tool, either took the high road, the scenic route, the obstacle course, the direct but very fraught way, experienced mechanical failure, or just failed to control the vehicle and crashed and burned. The award goes to..

CULINARY DELIGHTS AWARD Every team has at least one. That person who always impresses with their baking skills, or their flair with food. Who is yours? We want to know, so we can reward them!

HANDS UP AWARD For that person who consistently puts their ‘hand up’, volunteers their time, skill and resources to assist and support others in any number of ways.
